Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of TXBUK (the "Platform"), a directory service that connects independent IT and telecom field technicians with businesses seeking on-site technical work. By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms.

1. Who We Are

TXBUK operates a searchable directory. We are not a staffing agency, employer of record, or party to any agreement made between a technician and a business. Technicians on TXBUK are independent professionals, not TXBUK employees or contractors.

2. No Verification Guarantee

TXBUK does not currently perform background checks, license verification, or identity verification on technician profiles unless explicitly labeled as "Verified" by TXBUK staff. Businesses are responsible for their own due diligence before engaging any technician found through the Platform.

3. Account Responsibilities

  • You must provide accurate information when creating a profile.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
  • You may not misrepresent your identity, skills, certifications, or work history.
  • You may not attempt to access another user's account or private data.

4. Work Opportunities

Any work arrangement, payment, rate, or contract formed between a technician and a business is strictly between those parties. TXBUK is not responsible for the performance of work, payment disputes, or the conduct of either party.

5. Prohibited Conduct

  • Posting fraudulent, misleading, or impersonating profiles.
  • Uploading malicious files or attempting to compromise Platform security.
  • Scraping or harvesting data from the Platform without permission.
  • Using the Platform to harass, discriminate against, or defraud other users.

6. Content Ownership

You retain ownership of the content you upload (photos, resumes, certifications). By publishing a profile, you grant TXBUK a license to display that content on the Platform for the purpose of operating the directory.

7. Termination

We may suspend or disable accounts that violate these Terms, including profiles reported as fraudulent or inappropriate.

8. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. TXBUK is not liable for damages arising from your use of the Platform or your reliance on any profile or work request.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
